Wrap up a little Christmas

Baking holiday sweets and bringing them over to friends and family has become quite the tradition. We all know the cookies inside are delicious but why not add that extra special touch with the packaging?

Here are some tips and tricks to add that special touch to your wrapped up sweets.

1. Fill and tie festive food bags with pretty ribbon.

I like to use festive colours with the ribbon, which I found on Amazon. You can shop it here. With the ribbon you can also tie little decorative pieces to give that extra pizzazz. Add pinecones, dried flowers or little ornaments.

2. Line a basket with tissue paper and fill it with sweets.

Using a basket over a bag or tin can elevate the sweet gift. Line the basket with tissue paper, add your treats and wrap it with cellophane. It's a great gift to bring to your next holiday party without it having to cost a fortune.

3. Wrap the cookie tin.

We always tend to bring our sweet treats in cookie tins. You can shop cookie tins here. Why not change it up by wrapping the cookie tin like any other Christmas gift? Adds a fun element of having another gift to unwrap. Use any fun wrapping paper that you have.

The best part of the holiday season is getting together with families and friends but no one will ever say no to beautifully wrapped cookies.
