At last! After several years of absence, the city's downtown core will once again host the most eagerly awaited event of the winter season, the Grand Christmas Market, starting November 20 and lasting throughout the holiday season.
"We have worked very hard for nearly two years to allow the return of the Grand Marché, in addition to our other events in Jean-Talon and in the South-West. It is a joy to see the outcome of this work and the enthusiasm it generates," said Line Basbous, executive director of La Lutinerie, the organization that promotes Le Grand Circuit féérique.
The new and improved Le Grand Circuit féérique offers the ideal opportunity to discover or rediscover Montreal's neighbourhoods in the authentic atmosphere that has made its reputation, and in complete safety. The public will be able to support more than 100 local artisans and producers, while enjoying delicious mulled wine, comforting churros and a varied gourmet offered. Children and adults alike will enjoy the enchanting decorations and the rich free program with numerous shows, concerts and animations. There are even rumors that Santa Claus will come to meet the onlookers!
