Craft projects around the holidays are always so much fun. This DIY wreath is made from burlap, a fabric that is very in. It gives a beautiful rustic look while still looking classic and chic.
What I love about this project is that you can really put your own personal style into it with whatever decor you choose. I’m focusing this specific wreath on Christmas decor but you can add any decor to match your style at any point in time. This is great to hang around your own house but can also make a great gift to others. Everyone loves to recieve gorgeous gifts made with love.
What you'll need:
A wired wreath frame, shop here.
Burlap ribbon, shop here.
Zip ties, shop here.
Scissors, shop here.
Decorations (if wanting to add decor to wreath)
Hot glue gun, shop here (if wanting to add decor to wreath)
Instructions
Use one end of the burlap to make a knot around the wire wreath. You can also secure the burlap with a zip tie.
Push the burlap into one of the sections of the frame. Be sure to twist it so that the loop is sideways and the wreath wire is covered.
Continue making loops but Kake sure that the next 'bubble' in the wreath is next to the one you just did. Try and keep each loop even in size to keep the same form throughout.
Continue making loops until the wreath is as full as you want.
Cut off the burlap if you have extra.
Make another knot to complete the wreath.
If you would like to decorate the wreath, use a glue gun to stick on different decor.
