Cinnamon Roll Twists

These tasty twists are perfect and easy for the morning or a mid-day snack when anyone pops by for a visit. Keep the crescent roll dough in the fridge for a quick and easy solution to snacking.

Makes 10 cinnamon twists


Ingredients


For the Cinnamon Roll Twists:

  • 1 (8 oz.) can refrigerated crescent rolls

  • 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 2 Tablespoons + 1 Tablespoon melted butter, divided


For the Glaze Dip:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  • 2 Tablespoons milk

Instructions

For the Cinnamon Roll Twists:

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Lightly grease with nonstick cooking cooking spray.

2. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 4 rectangles.

3. In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.

4. Brush 2 Tbsp. melted butter onto tops of crescents and sprinkle with half cinnamon-sugar mixture.

5. Place one crescent rectangle, buttered side down, on top of another and press edges together. Cut each rectangle into 5 strips. Brush with remaining melted butter. Twist each strip a few times and place on prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with remaining cinnamon-sugar.

6. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Serve with Glaze Dip, if desired.


For the Glaze Dip:

1. Combine powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl. Whisk until smooth.

2. Serve with cinnamon twists.
