The sun is shining, school is out and it is officially summer time! While we love the gorgeous weather and the sunny days that the summer brings, it is necessary to wear the proper sunscreen to get protection from sun rays.
The rays from the sun can be extremely damaging to our skin, where having no protection from sun rays can increase our risk of developing skin cancer. The best protection from this is done by wearing hats, clothing and sunglasses to cover the skin, as well as to avoid the sun at peak hours of the day. Another great way to be protected from the sun is to wear proper sunscreen.
Here is a guide to the safest sunscreens according to the Environmental Working Group.
